This 1968 SS Camaro started life as a race car participating in the Good Guys series up and down the West Coast. It came to us with a 496ci big block Chevy with 14.5:1 compression, an 1050 dominator carb and a 250 shot of nitrous. Fun but not the least streetable. After rebuilding the transmission, setting up the suspension and changing the ignition, we installed a 1969 427ci big block Chevy with a 6:71 blower, dual QuickFuel 750cfm carbs, a custom ground cam from Delta Camshaft in Tacoma WA, new 4" dual exhaust and a lot of shiny parts. Believe it or not, the blown 427 was more streetable and still managed almost 900hp on the dyno. A true beast to drive. We have some videos prior to the new owner taking it away that we will post soon.
